I discovered quite a while ago that butter did not have to be refrigerated and I even tried the butter bells but found them to be a headache. I have tried other butter dishes but never found one I really liked until Butterie. Now I don’t have butter wrappers on my counter. I think Butterie is the perfect answer for keeping butter on my counter. It is very pretty, so very easy to use and even comes with its own spreader. I will be buying some of these for gifts for friends. It’s a great product!! Two thumbs up!!

I love this butter holder. However, I have a husband who is insanely challenged no matter the butter dish style etc. I am beyond frustrated. Thought with this the way it is made/designed that he COULD NOT possibly "screw it up" - He does. So, I give up. It will no matter what continue to be a hot mess... my 8yr old grandson handles using it better. Anyway. This butteriedish is actually a dynamic creation despite my husband. The inside wipe ledge is handy. The knife that comes with it is a perfect fit with ones fingers/hand. The spot where it lays at rest is beneficial. The lid opens and closes with ease and seals well. I do truly love everything about it. Butter inside holds it shape great! I have had 2 sticks in there as well as just one - room enough for both! The gripper underneath helps keep it stable while using. And it washes up easy and dries quick.

This is the perfect butter dish! I bought this about 6 months ago and just went back for the toaster tongs. Both are excellent products. The butter dish just does a great job of keeping butter at room temperature and keeping it closed away so as not to attract a pest while keeping it neat. I can only keep it on the counter a bit more than half the year due to the heat, but it works just as well in the fridge. Easy to clean too. The toaster tongs are something I've been looking for a long time. I had a pair way back when and when I went to replace them the choices were junk. These work on thick bagels or thin toast, keep my fingers safe and look great. The fact that they are also manufactured to move the oven rack is terrific. I had purchased a separate item for that job and just love than I can just use the tongs. These two items are things that once you have them, you will wonder why you took so long to get them. They just make everyday life better!

Have always kept butter on the counter but in a dish with a separate lid. I found that after a week or two the rim of the lid became filled with butter. The Buterie dish with attached flip-back lis solved this!

The only thing which I do not like is the holder for the spoon. This holder is way to easy made and the spoon falls constantly out of it, if you touch it wrong. So that is what can get on your nerves after a while.

Also a great feature is that there are rubberized strips on bottom of dish so it won’t slide and go off the counter or table.

I love my butterie. My old one had a lid you had to lift off and it was always disappearing. My daughter came to visit and commented on how mush she liked it also. I decided to order one for her foe Christmas and thought I should also get one for my daughter-in-law. They were running a special if you bought 2. My friend gave me the red Butterie holder, and I love it. In fact, I love it so much, I bought a white one, too. Now I can keep both salted and unsalted butter on the counter, ready to use.
These butter holders are wonderful. For years I have used a tupperware butter holder, and it kind of does the job, but not as well as the Butterie. And now you have the most amazing squeezable light bulbs! Can't wait to see you next invention.

I bought my first butterie dish about a year ago and love it. I just bought a couple more for gifts. When I got my order I didn't receive the red one that was on the invoice, I call their number and they were so polite and sent out the red one which I got in a few days. I also ordered their new toast thongs. My husband had cancer and was taking chemo, causes his finger tips to be sensitive, that way he can now retrieve the toast without hurting his fingers. Even he like to use them to hold the bread when he butters them., The thongs work great. I will be order a couple more for some friends.

I bought mine last year & I just love it. My kitchen is red & goes perfect as it is a true red. So easy to use, just flip the top & slice off what you need. I leave my butter out so the top is a real plus & dish is so easy to clean. Price is great & well worth every penny!!

Not my style
There are all kinds of folks with all kinds of kitchens and I know that this dish would be perfect in many of them. Just not mine. First, I was surprised that it was lightweight plastic. This is totally my fault based on the good reviews I read on some cooking sites. I wrongly assumed that it was more like crockery--which in retrospect is stupid given the way the lid slides up and down. Second, it says BUTTERIE on the top of the lid. While I don't mind a swoosh on my shirt or sneakers, my kitchen doesn't have neon advertisements for goods. Just doesn't work for my industrial/arts and crafts aesthetic. I looked at the images with the butter dish open, and missed this, too. Would be cool in a more country kitchen, I'm sure. Anyway. I am so sorry I bought this. It was what it should be, just not what I wanted.

Perfect for my sisters kitchen. I bought the red butterie because my sister has a 50s diner style kitchen. My parents live with her and use at least a stick of butter a day for all her cooking. They currently have a small glass butter dish that gets unsightly very quick. This will be the perfect solution.
