Why the counter is the best place to keep your butter

Why the counter is the best place to keep your butter

It's a scientific fact that butter does not require refrigeration. Trust us, we've done the research. Now, this may be news to some of you considering 50% of Americans are completely unaware of this life changing fact. Keeping butter on the counter at room temperature makes it soft and spreadable. There's nothing better than having delicious, easy-to-spread butter on hand at all times. Also, when you keep your butter on the counter, there's no need to struggle trying to spread cold, hard butter or go to the trouble of microwaving it and ending up with a mess of melted butter.

Butter can be stored at room temperature (68-78 degrees) for up to three weeks—but is usually gone much quicker than that! Once you start keeping your butter on the counter, there's really no going back. Whether you're cooking, baking, or hosting dinner, having soft butter ready to use is a must.
